Patch Your Microsoft Outlook for the 2007 Daylight Savings
Changes.
(Click Help, then About from within Outlook to determine
your version. Only run the one Outlook patch that corresponds to your version.)
Windows Patch Instructions
If you are
prompted to run (or open) or save the file please select run (or open). If
you are warned that this may not be a safe file, opt to continue.
Trust me...
The following
window will open:
Click on the Apply
button.
You will receive a
message that either says "Patch installed successfully!" or "Could not
install because the patch is already installed."
Either way, you
are now all patched up, and your PC clock will adjust for Daylight Savings
on the correct dates. Click the Cancel button to close the program and you
are all set.
Outlook Patch Instructions
Click on the
appropriate link for your version of Outlook. If you are prompted to run (or
open) or save the file please select run (or open). If you are warned that
this may not be a safe file, opt to continue.
When the application starts, you will be
prompted to accept the license agreement. Please do so by clicking the
checkbox, then click the Continue button. The following window will appear:
Simply click the OK button and all of your
appointments will be rescheduled according to the "new" timezone (even
though you are still in the Mountain timezone, you have in effect changed
timezones by applying the timezone change patch to Windows). You will get a
confirmation notice, and then you'll be all done.
